Handphone dengan codename TeaCake dan internal name W150i ini seperti diperkirakan sebelumnya merupakan handphone dengan sistem operasi proprietary Sony Ericsson pertama yang memiliki kemampuan layar sentuh secara utuh, semua fungsi dioperasikan melalui sentuhan pada layar, tanpa menggunakan keypad atau keyboard fisik. Jika dibandingkan dengan vendor lain seperti Samsung atau LG, Sony Ericsson memang termasuk ketinggalan dalam segmen ini, namun lebih baik terlambat daripada tidak sama sekali. Tidak hanya sekedar layar sentuh seutuhnya, Yendo™ pun dipercantik dengan user interface baru yang diberi nama four corner touch UI yang merupakan adaptasi dari user interface yang sebelumnya diterapkan pada duo Android Mini (Xperia™ X10 Mini dan Xperia™ X10 Mini Pro).
